The below information relates to Fiat, Peugeot and Citroens with rear leaf spring suspension

VB Semi air enables the suspension to be adjusted manually within certain limits.  On a vehicle with leaf springs the air springs are fitted between the chassis and the rear axle support.  This gives the vehicle greater height at the back and helps level off centre loads

The system is supplied as a two chamber system allowing the vehicle to be levelled to a degree when it's loaded unevenly. 

The comfort system comes with a compressor and fitted control panel allowing easy use of the system when needed.

The Base system has two schrader valves where the air bags can be inflated from.

These are what we would refer to as "standard leaf springs" these have been used for many years and will be made of metal. 

They can be a single leaf or a double shown in the picture.

When pricing below see "standard leaf springs"

These are a relatively new type of leaf spring for these vehicles and will be a single bar. 

Key points to look for are;

Shape - Generally square in shape

Colour - Often grey

Semi air can still be fitted however addtional parts are required.

When pricing see additional part "Composite (Glass fibre) leaf spring modifcation"

Fiats can now also come with two types of handbrakes this type is what we would refer to as a "standard handbrake"

This are a normal lift up and down handbrake located next to the seat

When pricing below see "Standard handbrake"

As opposed to a standard handbrake Fiat, Citroens and Peugeots can now also come with an electric handbrake.

This means there will be no manual lift up and down brake but a switch on the dash board (generally to the right hand side) allowing the handbrake to be applied electronically

The Semi air system can still be installed however a modification kit is required

When pricing see additional part "Electric handbrake Modification"

The Semi air Comfort control panel is fitted to the right of the steering wheel as shown in the picture.

Generally this area will be clear however occasionally people will fit switches in this area.

We just need to confirm this area is clear and free from any other switches
